Welcome to Swaha Lodge!
Here are a few guidelines to make your stay with us as comfortable
and enjoyable as possible:

If an animal is seen or heard in any of these cabins, there will be a charge of
$50 per night to your credit card.
V. There is NO SMOKING allowed in Lake Cottages 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
You may, however, smoke outside on the deck.
Below are Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
to help you during your stay:
Q: What are the Check In and Check Out Times?
A: The Check In time is 3:00 P.M. and the Check Out Time is 11:00 A.M.
Q: Where do I leave my key?
A: If you have already paid, you can leave your key in your cabin.
If you have not paid, please go to the office to turn in your key and pay your balance.
Q: Is there a boat launching fee?
A: The US Army Corps of Engineers requires a boat launching fee of $3.00.
There is a brown canister to the left side of the launching ramp.
Take an envelope out of the canister, fill out the information, put your money in
the envelope, then hang the receipt on your rear view mirror.
Q: Why do I have a citation on my windshield?
A: Please pay close attention to Corps of Engineers signs!
If you have received a citation, in most cases, you have done one of the following:
· You have not paid your boat launch fee.
· You have parked in the wrong area. The first 2 spaces on
the bottom row are for vehicles
If you park there with a trailer, you will get a ticket.
Q: What do I do if I get a ticket?
A: Swaha Lodge has nothing to do with citations.
That is the Corps of Engineers.
If you receive a citation on a weekday, you may take it up to the field office at the
top of the hill and speak to them about it.
If it is on a weekend, speak to an on duty park ranger or call 870-285-2151
on a weekday.
Q: Where do I unhook from my trailer?
A: You may leave your trailer next to your cabin or on the middle road by the marina.
Q: Is there a fee to swim?
A: The Corps of Engineers requires a fee of $1.00 per person over 12 years of age.
There is a brown canister near the swimming beach.
Take an envelope out of the canister, fill out the information,
put your money in the envelope, then hang the receipt on your rear view mirror.
Q: Do I have to have a fishing license?
A: Anyone 16 years or older must have an Arkansas fishing license.
If you are fishing for trout, you must have a trout permit also.
The smallest out of state license available is a 3 day for $11.00.
The trout permit is an additional $12.00.
We sell licenses in our office.
Q: Where can I fish?
A: You may fish anywhere on the bank, except in the designated swimming area and
launching ramp.
You can also fish off of Docks C, D, E and G.
You are not allowed to fish off the main dock.
Please respect the privacy of our houseboat owners and do not go on their docks
for any reason.
Q: Where do I clean my fish?
A: Please do not clean your fish at your cabin.
There is a fish cleaning station on Dock G.
